Tablets are flat surfaces that you buy which come with an electronic pen of sorts, so that when you move it over the surface, it translates to the PC - so it's like replacing the mouse with a pen so you can draw as if on normal paper. They're a little awkward at first since the tablet doesn't show you what you're doing, you have to 'draw' on the surface but look at the computer screen. Extremely handy to have though if you're a digital artist.

My tablet pc is a bit different then that. Its a laptop and you can fold the screen down and then draw on the screen with your pen. Its like drawing on a piece of paper but cooler

I want a touchscreen. More versatile and you can actually see it as you draw.
