What the GBA mentioned was an oversight, nothing more. They couldn't be stuffed fixing it.
I'm not too keen on the SXC idea. Sure, it's kinda fun to draw in fanart, but I don't much support the pairing.

No, the company itself confirmed that they aren't siblings/related, so that settles it, right? Well, unless the company is trying to commit status suicide by lying to us...

maybe its a luke/leia kind of relationship they dont realise theyre related until the end, it could also explain why the gba games said different, they could have accidentally let it slip

but honestly its more likely that cynder is a love interest for spyro

perhaps their coupling will result in a new age in which purple dragons arent as rare (see where im going with this) and thousands of years into the future, purple dragons arent a mythical entity any longer and the world has become happier, funnier, more colourful and filled with sheep that turn into butterflies and stuff >_>

No, no, a thousand times NO! They are not related. Amaze Entertainment (who made the GBA version of TEN) did not have all the needed information when they released the game and made a serious mistake. They admitted that error. Chris Wilson, producer and story writer for the entire LoS series, also stated publicly that Spyro and Cynder are in no way related and that Amaze had made a mistake. Console games are more accurate story wise than hand held games since most of the development time and process gets put into them and there are heavy undertones in TEN itself that imply a developing romance between Spyro and Cynder. It will probably come into it's own in DotD.

If you want to persist in thinking they're related, go ahead, just remember that I will be laughing a LOT at your expense after DotD comes out. Gads, I am so sick of this topic coming up... >(

it depends what timeline you ask.
In the GBA TEN timeline they are siblings. In The Home Console timeline they are not, weird isn't it?
