I don't think they will. They've said as much, and they've got a profitable franchise in Ratchet and Clank. They don't need Spyro.
As it is...I love both series, but I find T.L.o.S more to my taste. I'm happy with Sierra...as long as EL doesn't stuff it up.

agreed, i wont say never (because only a sith deals in absolutes... but thats an absolute, does that make me a sith?) but the chances of it happening are close enough to 0 that never is almost appropriate

if like me you would like to see the old style of spyro make a comeback, your best bet is to hope for a company to take over who can achieve the same results as insomniac, hell give it to nintendo, they did a brilliant job on mario galaxy (though i spose nintendo wouldnt want it)

Insomniac will NEVER return to Spyro. End of story. I liked the original trilogy but who's to say that Insomniac could repeat their performance? George Lucas made a second trilogy of Star Wars that wasn't as revolutionally as the first. (They were AWESOME movies but they weren't the classics) Insomniac doesn't make games like Spyro anymore. The only thing close is RaC. They make first person shooters like Resistance: Fall of Man. They aren't interested in Spyro anymore.

It would be interesting to see what they could do but it won't happen. Period.

Yeah, the dragon guardians and Cynder are cool so it would be awesome if they were put into the old style of games... Well that is what I think at least.

if i were to create spyro games (And i wiont anytime soon) i'd go back to the old Spyro characters but maybe introduce some new into the old Timeline (Dragon guardians, Cynder etc). Maybe Insomniac would have the sameidea

Yeah, Cynder is way cooler than Ember. But if Isomniac did return, they probably would bring back all their old characters that they have created. Which actually would make me like the series even more again!

Insomniac didn't create or Put her in in the first place. I dont think Insomniac would put her in if they were to continue.
