As long as you have a TOOL battery (that one) or a Hardmodded battery (what I did), there will be no risk of turning your PSP into a paperweight by a faulty flash.

AH! You are talking about the TOOL battery! That will DEFINITELY work. And it includes a memstick too!

Will work! Though you have to pay for it, and a soldering iron is cheaper.
