Being paid would be so awesome, but it's rather illegal to get paid for fan art, so this has to be entirely a labor of love (unless, by some miracle, Sierra wants another Spyro character design artist or someone to draw coloring books for them ). I really do love all the fans who come to see my Spyro work, I just get burned out by them sometimes, too.

To Razz: I'm one of those 'single sentence' people . I think you have a great talent for art, and I haven't asked for or stolen any of it. I think it's better to draw it yourself so you can use the experience to get better. I draw Spyro all the time, and only one of my pictures has been added to my art thread. And it's a really old picture.
Anyways, back to Spyro...

Yes. Yes it is. For all the work I do, I'm not really compensated. It's just lucky for the fans that I enjoy it personally so much, otherwise I would have stopped doing all this art a long time ago.

It'd be nice if people would stop stealing my art, trying to sell it, demanding free art, or telling me what I did wrong in certain pieces. And, given all the work I put into this, a few less single-word comments and a few more thoughtful responses would be nice. As a general rule, I feel pretty unappreciated by the fandom at large, but I keep drawing because I like the characters, I've made some obligations, and it's what people want.

Isn't the fact that people really love your art good enough? I mean, you draw as a hobby, and it's a nice bonus that you receive the said feedback. What more do you need, monetary value? xD

Then again, I'm not an artist, so I can't really say much.
