I always sign my work, but I put my signature in unusual places where it's a bit tricky to see so it won't detract from the art and so people won't be able to remove it easily. I might try digitally watermarking my work from now on, though.

What I think I would do if I were in this situation is to first get my art onto my PC, then I would Copy and Paste my art into Paint and type my username in or around the center of the picture.

Better yet, I use GIMP to make the name translucent or nearly invisible.

You're right, bananababy. I know a number of artists who left their fandoms over this sort of thing. Heck, I've come close to it, myself. We don't get paid to do this; our only reward is the praise given to us by others. And by not naming the artists, video makers are robbing them of what little they get for pouring their souls, time, and sometimes physical well beings into the art they do. It's disgusting and I don't care how young these kids are; they should know by now that stealing is wrong.

Theres some simple code for preventing right clicking, but thats easily bypassable if you know what your doing (Unlike most art theifts, they are usually kids that really dont know a whole lot).

What I would do is convert your art on JFF to swf, then block out right clicking on the page(s).

I seen the code, SR. When I tried saving the page, I came up with a black image. Works perfect. How would you integrate that to my deviantART?

Anyway, converting JPEG to SWF is the best way to do it. Because even if they get the SWF, they will NEVER edit it unless they do the "secret" process in extracting the image.
