1.) Skaab will try to close in on you. Don't let him near you!
2.) He will launch his hook at you from a distance. Try to lure him and then evade. When his hook gets stuck, that's your cue to bring the pain!
3.) After a couple of successful attacks he then uses a shotgun. The shots are hard to dodge at close range so keep your distance. I recommend the 2 following methods to evade this.
3A.) Hold down the evade button. When he fires the shotgun, jump and then evade to the left or right.
3B.) Use "Dragon Time" to get behind him. If there's cover available then use it.
4.) If memory serves, I think he starts to charge at you or something. It shouldn't be too hard to avoid. Just wait him out and then close in for the kill.

After you get him he'll flee. After all, your still on a burning wreck of what remains of a ship.

When you get past all these other baddies you'll have to fight (MORE!??) you find him on a floating platform. This time, he brought some friends.

1.) He'll first fire the cannon at you. The shots won't be hard to dodge so just step aside.
2.) Soon, some baddies will show up. Take them out and avoid Skaab's cannonballs at the same time.
3.) Skaab's sword will charge up with energy so he will start a shockwave. The aftermath will cause crates to fall. Use the shadows to tell where they'll land and stay back.
4.) He should be taking a little break right now so go ahead and say how you feel about him. (Don't forget those annoying bird things!)

Edit: Thanks for the reminder DarkSpyroRocks. Use the Earth Frail to deliver the maximum amount of damage to Skaab.

You must have collected fury.If you have,good.If you don't,play with him 'till the scavengers pop out.Then kill some of those guys until you collect fury.Then,use all your dark breath power and after that use your fury.
