I loved the games by insomniac, and i think they have just finished RAC5 so now, what are they going to do?

nahhhhh, that name is too cheesy lol, ad they'll never make another game, but it would be good.
maybe make the levels a bit harder (like harder to finish)
but it was good anyway without the hard levels
(really, anybody that thought that beating the sourcerous was beting the game, wtf that is untrue)

I remember making a reply on this in the Spyro Chat thread equivalent. Maybe I should quote myself for the purposes of this thead.

Aside from what's been said, it was Universal that held the rights to Spyro since the series' interception, not Insomniac. While it can be nice to see the series being re-transferred back to them, we also need to take note of the following question - will they even be prepared to make a Spyro title?
I know that it can be tough to see games getting transferred to others' hands. But for some series, it can do them some good. Sonic the Hedgehog's latest great titles have mainly been the handheld ones, and they were developed by Dimps. And I especially adored Mario's RPG/quest like titles; does the Nintendo in-house team have what it takes to make a game like Super Mario RPG on that scale without bugging Squaresoft to actually make the game themselves?
There are even some game franchises that are having problems under their hands of their creators. I'll set Banjo-Kazooie as an example - all of their games were established by Rare. However, somewhere around the Microsoft purchase, their games started to face a struggle to meet up with the quality of their predecessors. Even initial feedback that I saw of Banjo-Threeie saw just as many mixed reactions to how Banjo got rendered as did Spyro's successive new renders in the past four years or so.
On top of that, outside from Spyro, all of Insomniac's games have been of the futuristic variety, and that might have been the kind of game that the guys over there were initially interested in making a living out of in the first place. I think if I was in their shoes, I might feel a little bit awkward and want to seek for more of a challenge.

Lets no forget that Insomniac sold the rights of Spyro for a reason: They got bored with it. Why would they buy it back?

I think that the next Spyro NEEDS GOOD PUZZLES, the storyline is [in my mind] the best so far, and if they can pull of the combat then we've got an instant classic

Personally, I steadfastly stand by Insomniac`s version of the franchise. I guess I don`t outright hate the new Spyro, but what VU did to the original series...just apalled me. I know I`ll see some heated disagreement, but I personally think VU was going for "Disney rip-off" when they made AHT. The least they could`ve done was make Ember...not pink. But, it`s all water under the bridge now, so no use bellyaching.

What worries me about ANB is I`m afraid Spyro`s going to go the same route as Sonic the Hedgehog; his fandom can be an utter hail these days because of all the separate universes and canons, what with the gamers insisting that the Sonic games are the true canon, and there being heated fights between Sonic n00bs about which Sonic girl "suxxors" the most, who he should pair up with, what the true canon is, and...ugh. The whole thing`s almost enough to turn me off from that franchise altogether, but I`ve thankfully found the occasional sensible, reasonable Sonic fan, which gives me a small glimmer of hope yet.

I just hope we don`t start getting two or three Spyro comics and three or four Spyro cartoons to raise disputes of what Spyro is the "true" Spyro. Thankfully, from what I`ve seen of Spyro fans, you guys seem pretty reasonable, so maybe the dragon will have better luck than the hedgehog.

Sadly for me, I'm WAY more used to VU games, since I played the console ones before moving to Insomniac's Spyro's. I'm not saying that their games suck, I like Year of the Dragon and Ripto's Rage. ^^;
Though..since I've been used to the games like A Hero's Tail, Shadow Legacy, and A New Beginning, well...they're tied in the ratings for me, but addiction wise...AH'sT and ANB got it for me.

I didn't know a thing about about Spyro when I played AH'sT, so I was just getting most of the ideas. I checked other places about Spyro and seems that people had mixed opinions. I kept playing however. I think I played AH'sT for...5-6 hours I think. It was fun. ^^

A New Beginning was one of the more...addiction wise, sort of. I was really hooked, but seeing as that I was close to finishing. I put it down and waited until later. I did like the idea of giving Spyro melee moves, and I hate to say this, but I really like his new look, not more than his original look...well...it's tied. I admit the Enemies are...similar, but yeah, I didn't mind. I really liked the Storyline and all, it was easy, but I think I like this game a bit more than AH'sT...but not much. They did a excellent job with the voicing and characters, I'm hoping for a sequel soon. At this rate, it will get better and better each game. ^^

Sorry if this offends any Spyro fans. ^^;

1.) A Hero's Tail (Awesome Game.)
2.) Enter the Dragonfly (Not one I was expecting...it's alright.)
3.) Spyro: Shadow Legacy (Pretty good idea, but not the best...)
4.) Spyro the Dragon (Pretty good start, got me hooked for a while...)
5.) Spyro: Ripto's Rage (Pretty awesome ^^)
6.) Spyro: Year of the Dragon (This was just plain awesome.)
7.) The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning (Cool idea, good game, a bit repetitive, but it's good. ^^)

I think Insomniac done the best Spyro games. I have:
Spyro Fusion/Orange
Spyro 2
Spyro Shadow Legacy
and
Spyro Enter the Dragonfly.

I have only ever played a demo of Spyro 1, but it was good.

Spyro is almost 10 years old, and I hope they remake the first game, and give it a Next Generation feel, like what they are doing to Tomb Raider.

1. Yes, either that or Krome should atleast TRY to make a new game
