Alright.

So once you've unlocked the Lightning gate, you can go down to the water/lake/dock area.
Swim as far as you can against the island. Then headbash between the edge of the island and the water. It may take a few tries.
I've done it before. It's really cool.
If you can get it to work there, you can do the same at the tiki island level.
If you get the glitch to work in the home world level, go and swim underneath/through the castle. If you keep swimming that way, you'll eventually find random gems floating in the air that you can get. =]

in enter the dragonfly go through one of the gates with your breath (cant remember which one ) and jump into the water and swim to the fence in the water and you will see a hole speed swim into it for a phew seconds and then speed swim straight up and you will be swimming in the air!!! to exit just go back into the water
