just pop a dvd in and play it... the optical drive is a dvd readable drive

Correct. AVOID THE 40 GB VERSIONS. They have NO PS2 compatibility whatsoever!

Gran Turismo 4 was somewhat the best graphical game back in its time (when it was released).
Anyways, I mostly use my ps2 to play most ps1 games, But since I have a ps3 I just play them on that. Contrast/colour level increases slightly.

Actually, Grand Turismo 4 wasn't that bad. I loved the great selection of vehicles.
