yeah. i mean if they had of just taken their time and fixed up all the glitches and loading screens and framerate and made the game longer and all that, they could have made a really good game. I like this game, but it was a dissapointment. It could have been alot funner.

it was because like spyromaster said, the game was rushed to be released in winter 2002 and was only half finished. Another half a year would of made this game beter. I still think this game was beter than ANB and maybe even TEN

Yeah, if there was one thing I couldn't stand, it was the loading. Took FOREVER.

overall the game had no really decent story
it had ripto in it
the bubble breath was gay
and catching dragonflies

this game was by far the worst

there are a few more problems with the game there where a few glitches but not THAT many the story admitingly crap and I dont know why but spyro seemed slower

You really shouldn't even consider this game an extension of the Spyro series. It's more something just like....a bonus game.

Again, let me clarify that he only served as a great enemy in Ripto's Rage. Hence, why I thought the bosses in that title were a greater jump than the original.

ripto was not a fun enemy he was a absolute disgrace to the spyro games

Ripto was awesome in Ripto's Rage/Gateway to Glimmer, but it's a bad idea to set a recurring villain either way, especially since the franchise didn't warrant that approach before.
Concerning bubble breath, I actually saw it as some kind of aquatic breath form, which in the Spyro series in general were all pretty weak in offensive power (water power in A Hero's Tail was mainly used for puzzle solving and the ice powers just freeze your enemies on the spot before you can actually get around to attacking them).

Still, while the loading screens do look kinda pretty, loading times are a real burden if you ask me. I see a lot of similarities with the Wrath of Cortex now that I think of it >.>

i will trade spyro the dragon, Spyro 2:riptos rage,and year of the dragonfly for enter the dragonfly and a heros tale

i finished all 3 games and want to get more but have no cash to get ETD and HT with so i will trade if anyone is interested.

and gems to boot
i dont care about the bugs spyro is a great game
