			<description><![CDATA[<div class="quotebox"><blockquote><div><p>Oh and I know that they&#039;re making a Madagascar 2, and possibly a Shrek 4. Dreamworks always copies Disney, for example:</p><p>Dreamworks&#160; &#160; &#160; &#160; &#160; &#160; &#160; &#160;Disney<br />Antz&#160; &#160; &#160; &#160; &#160; &#160; &#160; &#160; &#160; &#160; &#160; &#160; &#160; &#160;A Bug&#039;s life<br />Madagascar&#160; &#160; &#160; &#160; &#160; &#160; &#160; &#160; The Wild (Disney worked on this for 4 yrs while Dreamworks worked on Madagascar for only 2)<br />Small Soldiers&#160; &#160; &#160; &#160; &#160; &#160; &#160;Toy Story<br />EL Dorado&#160; &#160; &#160; &#160; &#160; &#160; &#160; &#160; &#160; &#160;The Emperor&#039;s New Groove</p><p>So, you see my point.&#160; Dreamworks always rushes production in their movies to beat Disney and claim that &quot;they were the originals.&quot;</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>The Lion King II: Simba&#039;s Pride and Aladdin and the King of Thieves were quite good in my opinion. And Mulan II and Brother Bear II weren&#039;t that bad, but they could have been better. But the ones that I absolutely hate are Bambi II, The HB of Notre Dame II, 101 Dalmations II and The Jungle Book II, they were just appaling, I really enjoyed the first ones, especially Bambi and 101 Dalmations, the sequels were such a disappointment...... X(. Another rumoured film they are making (or were going to) is 103 Dalmations, though I&#039;m not sure wether its a film with Glenn Close or an animated one. Please correct me if I&#039;m wrong though.</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>Spyrofriend - You&#039;re information isn&#039;t entirely correct. A lot more films DID NOT get sequels than the few you mentioned. Not every Disney film was *bleep*ed. When Pixar took over Disney animation they put a stop to all sequels in production to Disney films except for 5: Little Mermaid III and the four Tinker Bell films. Other than those, they scrapped about five other in-the-works sequels </p><p>There have been 46 released Disney animated films with four more in production: </p><div class="quotebox" style="padding: 0px;"><div onclick="var e,d,c=this.parentNode,a=c.getElementsByTagName('div')[1],b=this.getElementsByTagName('span')[0];if(a.style.display!=''){while(c.parentNode&&(!d||!e||d==e)){e=d;d=(window.getComputedStyle?getComputedStyle(c, null):c.currentStyle)['backgroundColor'];if(d=='transparent'||d=='rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)')d=e;c=c.parentNode;}a.style.display='';a.style.backgroundColor=d;b.innerHTML='&#9650;';}else{a.style.display='none';b.innerHTML='&#9660;';}" style="font-weight: bold; cursor: pointer; font-size: 0.9em;"><span style="padding: 0 5px;">&#9660;</span>Hidden text</div><div style="padding: 6px; margin: 0; display: none;"><p>1)&#160; &#160; Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs<br />2)&#160; &#160; Pinocchio<br />3)&#160; &#160; Fantasia<br />4)&#160; &#160; Dumbo<br />5)&#160; &#160; Bambi<br />6)&#160; &#160; Saludos Amigos<br />7)&#160; &#160; The Three Caballeros<br />8)&#160; &#160; Make Mine Music<br />9)&#160; &#160; Fun and Fancy Free<br />10)&#160; &#160; Melody Time<br />11)&#160; &#160; The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad<br />12)&#160; &#160; Cinderella<br />13)&#160; &#160; Alice in Wonderland<br />14)&#160; &#160; Peter Pan<br />15)&#160; &#160; Lady and the Tramp<br />16)&#160; &#160; Sleeping Beauty<br />17)&#160; &#160; One Hundred and One Dalmatians<br />18)&#160; &#160; The Sword in the Stone<br />19)&#160; &#160; The Jungle Book<br />20)&#160; &#160; The Aristocats<br />21)&#160; &#160; Robin Hood<br />22)&#160; &#160; The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh<br />23)&#160; &#160; The Rescuers<br />24)&#160; &#160; The Fox and the Hound<br />25)&#160; &#160; The Black Cauldron<br />26)&#160; &#160; The Great Mouse Detective<br />27)&#160; &#160; Oliver &amp; Company<br />28)&#160; &#160; The Little Mermaid<br />29)&#160; &#160; The Rescuers Down Under<br />30)&#160; &#160; Beauty and the Beast<br />31)&#160; &#160; Aladdin<br />32)&#160; &#160; The Lion King<br />33)&#160; &#160; Pocahontas<br />34)&#160; &#160; The Hunchback of Notre Dame<br />35)&#160; &#160; Hercules<br />36)&#160; &#160; Mulan<br />37)&#160; &#160; Tarzan<br />38)&#160; &#160; Fantasia 2000<br />39)&#160; &#160; The Emperor&#039;s New Groove<br />40)&#160; &#160; Atlantis: The Lost Empire<br />41)&#160; &#160; Lilo &amp; Stitch<br />42)&#160; &#160; Treasure Planet<br />43)&#160; &#160; Brother Bear<br />44)&#160; &#160; Home on the Range<br />45)&#160; &#160; Chicken Little<br />46)&#160; &#160; Meet the Robinsons<br />47)&#160; &#160; Bolt<br />48)&#160; &#160; The Princess and the Frog<br />49)&#160; &#160; Rapunzel<br />50)&#160; &#160; King of the Elves</p></div></div><p>Those are the &#039;canon&#039; Disney films - the ones made at Disney&#039;s core feature animation studio. 			<description><![CDATA[<p>Walt Disney (while he alive) didn&#039;t do sequels. in the mid-90s Disney created crappy sequels to just about all its films, great (Bambi, the Lion King, Dumbo)&#160; decent (pocahantas) and medicore (Hunchback). Aladdin Mulan, Cinderella and now the Little Mermaid got 3 films. haven&#039;t seen any of the last 3 films&#039; sequels. Lion King 1.5 doesn&#039;t count as 3 imo.the only films that didn&#039;t get sequels were Snow White, pinocchio, and Sleeping beauty</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>I don&#039;t understand what was so special about the original Cars flick and that warranting a sequel so much. But still, better that than hoping for a followup of a more powerful Pixar flick, namely Finding Nemo or Ratatouille. I have been hoping for a sequel to The Incredibles though; that had the foundations of a potential franchise that would develop strongly after the initial film was done.</p><p>Still, I hope it all goes well. My mother discussed WALL*E with me a couple of weeks back and it sounds like a big hit that Pixar will make a mark on, providing they&#039;ll continue to channel in just as much creative effort as their previous works.</p>]]></description>
