"Evangelists" are those who believe the whole world should be told about Jesus/God/Salvation/Heaven and everyone converted to Christianity. I'm a Christian, but the right-wing evangelists make me want to gouge my eyes out with a pruning shears.

On another note, what the heck is up with these "some people believe..." threads? This is like the fifth one, isn't it. It's certainly a strange and noticeable trend. Hmm...

I knew about them, however, the Bible does not say to force everyone to convert, and that's all I was pointing out.

We just need a "Some Crazy People Believe X" thread here to stop all this crazy stuff...

Erm, No. Not everyone is of your religion, and as such, it would just be a better idea to keep it to yourself and only talk to people who have the same beliefs about it as you.

And no, it doesn't say in the Bible "Thou shall convert all thy know to the point of annoyance."

The theory is that a big organization did something to put every human to sleep. They then captured them and, for lacking a better term, "modified" the people to interface with a computer. And we all live in a computer simulation and the big organization enjoys the earth for all themselves.

I say BUSTED because if they are reading this now, they should have easily removed it.

For all you know, that's the Easter Egg the designers put in to make is shrug this off as the Matrix theory being untrue. Just playing Devil's Advocate here.

Its this kind of arrogance that really annoys me. Typical arrogance I really don't care about, but arrogance that impedes on someone's religious or spiritual beliefs REALLY *bleep*s me off. The god theory has no substantial evidence and that is why people cannot get that through their heads (20% of Americans, specifically). People do not just conform to god because you tell them too, they actually need to believe it, and some people need proof to believe.

Its great that you believe in god, but using god as a reason to belittle one's religious or spiritual beliefs is completely heinous and arrogant of you.

Now, I'm sorry I had to do that, because that's the one thing in this world that really ticks me off. I tried to do that as nicely as possible, and I apologize if you take any offense from that. None was implied.
