No, if you do this correctly, it is impossible to brick any psp.
I've only ever tried this by connecting psp to computer, letting flash0 being the usb device, dragging the file to the right folder and rebooting.  No bricking possible.

i did spend a lot of research on this...
basically i downloaded some programs and made the movie in
windows movie maker (it finally pulls through for me!)  I then simply converted it using the programs and remade it with Sony UMD tools...can't believe they leaked that on the internet...

anyway, I'll post the video on YouTube and I'll have a link up momentarily...
if you have a custom firmware PSP let me know and i'll give instructions on how to put it on your PSP safely...that means absolutey ZERO chance of bricking it! yay!
ha ha...

so I finally got around to doing some things with Spyro; TEN videos, and one thing that I actually finished is a TLOS TEN Spyro Gameboot for the PSP.

Of course, you'd need a custom firmwared PSP to be able to use this, but if you do, this little file lets you watch a short snippit of Spyro aboard Scabb's ship and then a custom PSP logo.

If it sounds too complicated, let me know cause it really shouldn't be that confusing...

An yeah, cause it has to go on a PSP's onboard flash it isn't long...only a few seconds...but I think it's pretty cool!

If interested let me know I have IM.  Maybe I'll upload it to a website..any suggestions where?
