Yes it did. A very special game indeed, the first Spyro. Just completed it again recently, but not 100% ... so im running around collecting all the gear I left behind to unlocks the trasure of Gnasty Gnorc.

I voted no because it didn't have the feeling that you guys are talking about, but TLOS gave a feeling because it had more adventure, action, and romance than any other Spyro game I have ever played.

the first game is deffinatly the best because off the Music,supercharges,movment abiletys and flight lvls

I use too play this game all i could when i was little my mum went too a Gypsy and she said your Youngest son is Connected too the Purple Dragon and its healty for him

Weird Yeah Spyro 1 was the best now Spyros Dead all the breaths and stuff just overdoes the game.

im going against everyone else here, so dont kill me for saying this but:
I dont think this game had a feel that all the others didnt have. This game wasnt as good as Riptos Rage and YOTD and so it didnt have a feel to it. I think YOTD had a feel that the other 2 didn't but Spyro the Dragon didn't have a uniqe feel. Its still a very good game but its just not as good as the others.

Hmmm i guess everyone has they own opions and everyone can respect that

But it did have a hugely different feel. It was so different in a way that I liked. The originality of it. It had not as many cutscenes and no minigames a such. It felt more simple and "young" in a way. Also it is enough to say that it had a hugely different feel. Look at the majority of the poll results.

Well I guess it's different for you. I played the Spyro games in order. I got Spyro 1 when it first came out when I was little. But to say that it had no feel is kinda shallow.

maybe i worded my post a bit wrong. I dont mean that it had no feel it had a feel and compared to say ETD and AHT it definetly had a great feeling that was different from them. But compared to Riptos Rage and YOTD i dont think it had a unique feel. i guess in a way it did but i dont think it is enough of one to say that it had a completly different feel.

Well I guess it's different for you. I played the Spyro games in order. I got Spyro 1 when it first came out when I was little. But to say that it had no feel is kinda shallow.

i said no becuase i thought that Ripto's rage and YOTD had a similar feel, but no other spyro games after that capture the same feeling. i see what you're getting at though.

edit: not becuase i don't like spyro the dragon
