As if TLOS isn't repetitive. The fighting gets very boring after a while.

I got tired of the minigames long ago. In fact, YotD has so many minigames that i hate (some of) them.

Now, what i think of the games, extended version:

I think that the story itself is very poor quality in tlos, but its presented a far better way than in the originals. ANB had most dialogue (i dont like that characters like Cyril and Volteer dont have many lines in TEN and DotD, as i have heard),what is a good point but it sucked in all other terms.

TEN was improved, well.. was attempted to improve gameplay wise (more platforming, elemental attacks improved, added collectables..), but it wasnt much better than ANB after all. As i said, i got only the slightest feeling of pleasure when i owned armies of enemies. Still so easy.

I believe that DotD was enchanced further, but it is still very much like its pre-versions. The last part of the trilogy, technically, should be richest in features, and indubitably the best. Ill make a topic when i get my hands on a mod-circuit for a wii so i can play the wared game, which i already have on a disc so you can do nothing about it.

(The last sentence was for the Tlos Police Squad (TPS) if they're trying to spam me with "DONT DOWNLOAD IT!!!! ITS A GREAT GAME AND WHAT YOU ARE DOING IS A CRIME!!")

I agree with Ratchet, yes, the original series was awesome. In fact, I'm getting a lot of them for Christmas. Those games are what led me on to TLoS games in the first place. All 13 of his reasons I can relate to.

HOWEVER, I do like the new ones as well. Not because it has, necessarily a better storyline (The Orginals had more simplistic, but extremely unique and well-thought-of storylines as well.) but becasue you get to see a new take on the original. Yes, the new ones DO have their flaws, my main reason being it is hella short. x.x I loved how the orginals were legnthy, but kept you enertained. But, it does offer new mechanics and characters that were, more-or-less, unlike the ones from the orginals.

All in all, I do prefer the older ones, simply because I have grown up with them and because they were truly what made Spyro a gaming-all star. It was unique, bright, funny, and all-around fun.

I am not saying I hate the newer ones, either. I actually like the new ones. I admit, it took me a while to get accustomed to it, but I do like the characters, graphics, new breathes, and the overall storyline. (I do not fault the originals for graphics, since they were just older)

In conclusion, I like the originals more. BUT the newer ones come in a near second.

Why is that? If you mean the timeline and such just to snap back like that then yes that would be weird. You think you know everything up to date about the world around you and all of a sudden you're in the past thinking "What is going on? How did this help shape the future events? Where are the world that I knew?" It's like Star Wars when it first released episodes IV-VI and then I-III came out after it.

Here's a thought: What if the A.I can counter your attacks if they seen you use them more than once? Your opponent and nearby enemies would be aware of your abilities and attempt to counter it. If you can counter theirs then why not the A.I? It's a good way to make the player to use all their resources to keep the enemy guessing.

That's what I was wondering. I never get bored with those games because the gameplay is so varied.

TLoS, though, is the very definition of repetitive gameplay.
