I dont mind how Gnasty Gnorc looked in AHT but i prefered his origanal look.I dont think that they should have made Gnasty Gnorc come back though. It would have been better to just bring a completly new villan in.

It might be because, while I played 2 and 3 as a kid, I didn't play the original until last year. So, when fighting him back in 2004, I thought "Hey, he looks cool". He was funny, as well. Then I played the original, and I found THAT look weird. His portrait in Gnasty's Loot was cool, though.

I think Gnasty is to Spyro as what a certain lizard is to a certain genre of a certain franchise. And that's the epitome of quirky.

he looks retarded in AHT, hes got like a monobraile and he sounds dumb. Hes obviously alive seeing the epilogue in YOTD but.... i recon that he shouldn't of changed and if returned, should of been with ripto.

He does! I just got to be able to play the game and I was like "Dang! That's gnasty gnorc?" He looks better in AHT.

I havn't played the first game since I was around 5, but I got it again, but havn't played it yet.
But he shouldn't have returned. It's stupid in AHT when you battle the bosses. They go "You beat me once... Twice... a third time!?!?" That's just stupid. You can't defeat someone 3 times in one battle! And bosses are easy to come up w/. They just bring back the old villians because it's not Insomniac anymore. I bet if Imsomniac still made Spyro games, there would be a lot more villians.

Ripto is my fav. character but I have to agree... He came back 2 many times.

On the note about bosses supposedly dying, don`t forget that Insomniac themselves put that Epilogue scene in YotD about Gnasty and Ripto holding a summit to discuss the "Spyro Problem". Plus, an Epilogue scene in RR said one of Spyro`s friends found a new toy, which was quite clearly Ripto. And, I`ve heard that Insomniac was working on ETD before they left the project; there`s more info about that on a similar forum called Spyro Fans Anonymous, or SFA. Here`s the topic, listed in "Revoked Canon" (bit of advice: if you`re not a fan of the Ratchet & Clank series, and haven`t played through at least 50% of the first game, then you might not get the comparison)

A pretty interesting tidbit of info, no?
