Go to where the big yellow dragon (I think) is, then go walk up the little ramp thing, across you should see a tunnel to glide to.  Glide over there and go up the tunnel.  There is an opening there, too.  Glide from there to the left and see if you can land on the platform to get to the key and the dragon.

I think that you are talking about the final dragon in Haunted Towers, and if you are, I agree, that one took me like 7 years to figure out too!  Ended up looking it up online...  XD
