i forgot about this. i just read it now, it's really interesting! it sounds like they get a decent amount of creative control, but i'm not sure i'd be too comfortable in an environment that strict. i wouldn't like people telling me to tweak my work like that. they seem to work around it pretty well, though.

they seem like pretty interesting people.

Sorry if this is kinda dead, but uhh, theres a vid on utube by a guy named crashpro3 or something and someone woh made a music vid from "Guide you home" (DOTD credits song) has a downloadable link! I loaded it, then used my editing software to conver it to WAV format and then put it on my itunes and ipod

Speaking of the music on the website...it reminds me of Diablo II...has that same ominous feel.

thank you dark fury dragon for this interview. i love the music in the legend of spyro.. managed to get some of it onto my zune. love it love it love it... favorite songs are the title screen music from the eternal night, the really dark symphonic and choir stuff when you first get into the temple with ignitus from a new beginning ... and the new music on the spyrothedragon website.. wow.

I e-mailed Becky and she replied back! She's such a sweet lady. You guys should e-mail her saying that she does a good job with composing the Spyro music. That's what I did and she replied saying that she appreciates me saying that I enjoy her music and look forward to her future ones. It felt nice knowing that one my favorite composers took appreciation in what I said. I even gave her a link to my Youtube page and she said she would take a look at it!

Maybe someone would care to rip it? If they have spare time? I would definetaly try if I had some time on my hands...just use my Location Free station on my PC and rip sound...perfect quality...

oh well...I can wait...

so how did you interview them? just asked and it happened? lucky!

So is there ever going to be a website where a person (such as, oh, I don't know, MYSELF ) can go to download these songs from the newer games?

I know that almost every video game-music database has songs from previous Spyro games, but not from the new LOS series...I really want songs from TEN as well as a few from ANB...

Anyway, nice interview...I was looking for a music thread!
