And no, not a father would be charged to watch over the egg. He is a Guardian, and he made sure Spyro is safe. you do not need to be related to do that.

Well it makes sense in the timeline and ignitus is flame i'll post the link to my theorys ill keep making them and to much is at stake with my plans so its going up in september because that is spyro month because the first game was released then. the simularitys are deeper in this conversation near the oldest quots. im suprised im the only game theorist on spyro. that ends in september

They might as well reveal that Ignitus is Spyro's father, I say . They hint at it way too much. Honestly, if Ignitus isn't Spyro's father, they need to make them look less alike .

Furthermore, if Ignitus isn't Spyro's father, it doesn't matter who is - because they still have the father-son <i>bond</i>, and that matters more than the actual biological relation. I feel nothing for my biological father, so I can back that up with personal experience.

So in short - I think Ignitus is most definitely Spyro's father, and if he's not... here's what I think would happen:

i think Ignitus is Spyro's father. Number 1, they look alike. Number 2, in DOTD where Ignitus sacrafices himself, he kinda drops a hint from my perspective, Number 3, the way they act around each other clearly shows a father-son bond even if they dont realize it.
