Cyril and Volteer were actually my favorite guardians for sheer comic relief, and that they remind me of hometown associates (Cyril = My freshman biology teacher, and Volteer = my roomate) Cyril is hilarious in his own disregard for anything else, aloofness, and complete unabashedness in all regards!

Anyway, he isn't my favorite character, but isn't the worst. Basically, neutral for me, though I was kinda disappointed that he got smacked in the face by the golem and was never seen again until the end. Kind of a waste.

Agreed. Cyril is anything but stupid, and the other Guardians 'put up with him' because he isn't only their fellow Guardian, but because he's their friend, arguably their brother.
