Ok. I have a kinda cool theory. As we all know, at the end of TLOS TEN Hunter is seen standing at the entrance of the cave. As we know Hunter and Spyro have never met.

But in Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage we see that Spyro has just met Hunter.

So I was thinking what could have happened. Here's what could have happened.
At the end of TLOS DOD after Spyro, Cynder, Hunter, and Sparx defeat the Dark Master something happened where all of their minds got erased. Then a magical spell happened so that Spyro and Sparx were sent to a different dragon realm. That's how Spyro ends up in the new dragon realm tracking down Gnasty Gnorc. Also Sparx ends up losing his voice and his arms. (How bizarre!) Hunter was sent to Avalar where the Professor found him. And Cynder, well I don't really know what would happen to her.

So what do you guys think?

The a few games which lay unexplained are the whole Hero Era (SL, AHT, Orange), ETD was a bit unexplained too. As for the gameboys, the fireflies was a total stupid idea from the start, and the wind at the start of AOR was a bit confusing. As for the loss of powers after Spyro 2, i think that those powers may only be used under Avalar Magic, so if Spyro went back into Avalar he could use those powers, buut as soon as he exits he will loose the powers. Because the super portal is connected to dragon shores, it technically allows dragon shores to be a part of Avalar.

Rexy: Yeah, Gnasty was green, thats it. Yeah, your right, he did lose his abilities in a tonn of games, probably the statue which gave spyro powers in ETD got destroyed or something.
Spyro: I really dont think the dark gems do that much damage, the dragons changed so frikin much that it wasn't funny. (and in a very short time too). But yeah, there probably were dragons somewhere else.
your probably right about the new dragon realms. I dont think there are such things as "talking lessons". Your probably right bout the professor. I cant accept that the dark gems made so much difference.

Shadow legacy just seems too weird, like theres japanese symbols around everywhere and actual houses. Anyway, its like frikin "magic dragon" japan.

Timeline C: Hero Timeline

Note: Timeline A except Gnasty's Dumber, looks different and has a strong grudge against Spyro. dragon realms are different, Srgt byrd put on weight and uses jetpack instead of flippers, Spyro is selfish and sarcastic, Spyro sounds different, different dragons exist, sparx can talk, bentley is dumb, all gnorcs are pink, Professor built stuff in dragon realms, moneybags looks different and sounds different.

My explanation for A Hero's Tail - the dark gems! They sapped the life and good out of things, so I believe they changed a lot of things in the dragon realms. Gnasty's not that much dumber but the gems made him more stupid. I think we're just seeing a different portion of the Dragon realms. Dragon village fits into the Artisans realm, In my opinion. Look at Enter the Dragonfly - the one hub world in it had a gray castle, blue roof. It looked identical to the castle in StD in the Artisans realm. I choose to believe it is the same castle, so the EtD realm was an extension of the Artisan realm, and if you just hopped over the castle in EtD you'd be in the Artisan realm. Sgt. Byrd had a jetpack in YotD. He wasn't in EtD, so he was obviously taking a break. He probably put on some weight and so flipper flapping wouldn't work - he was forced to use his jetpack that he always had. Spyro was always sarcastic. I don't see a big difference with him. Having different dragons doesn't change anything. The dragons in StD were the elders, there is way more than just elders out there! As for why the elders were different...like Magnus...in a non-bad sounding way, the dark gems sapped the masculinity out of him and made him gayish. I think Sparx could have been taking 'voice lessons'...he's silent in StD, buzzes a bunch in YotD, and his buzzes are more distinct in EtD, so by AHT he can talk. He was training. Bentley being dumb was the dark gems. The gnorcs being pink was the dark gems. After Spyro meets the Professor in RR, I'm sure the professor could have just come to the Dragon Realms to aid in some technical things. I mean he had a secret lab in the forgotten realms, so he built yet another in the dragon realms...not that strange. Moneybag's change was the dark gems as well.

Alone Games: These are games which do not co-incide with any timeline.
1.Spyro: Shadow Legacy (Can not fit because Spyro does not know how to glide at the start, this can be resolved if at the end of a game Spyro DOES lose this ability, however, no game states this. Apart from that, the dragon realms look very different.)

I think Spyro loses his breath abilities between EtD and AHT because the statue that gave him the powers in AHT was somehow destroyed. Then he lost his powers again between AHT and SL because the dark gems sapped power from him. As for the realms looking different - they are not the full realm, but extensions of the realms we knew. Spyro didn't explore all of the areas of each realm so now you were seeing more of them.

This is how I'd explain these inconsistencies.
