It's not uncommon to give out 2 seperat set of information. It's a common pratice to get people more involved and excyted, as you can very easly see it works wonders.

There's evidence for a connection to the early games. Like I said: we won't know for sure until the third game comes out. Someone at Krome did say it was a prequel, but only once, so it's not known if that's the truth or not.

dude! why do you think they called it A NEW BEGINNING, they wanted to mean that it had no connection, why do you think they started at the begining of spyro's life, and its way more of a serius plot....

Actually, we don't know that for certain. We will find out when the third game comes out if this is a prequel, sequel or an honest to goodness reboot.

He did not like the pink one (Ember). Also there is no proof for a connection, only things that make it less likely.

I don't think so because remember in the 5th Spyro game, he already had a girlfriend. She was the pink dragon with the heart necklace in the beginning.

man, she was a good char in TEN, lets just say she was kinda like... rose from AD:JL, she worries about her dark side, feels sorry for the one helping her, and just wants to dissapear, plus the fact that Sparx was probably "Turn her emo classes 101" so yeah........

I was somewhat disappointed by her role in TEN. She was a real key figure in ANB (and scary as sin at times). I was hoping they'd address some of the issues she must have making the transition from life of crime to life of...not trying to commit genocide. Instead, she was pretty much just a damsel in distress (which seemed really out of character).

I liked what the game implied about Cynder, though. That was clever of her, tricking Gaul and his cronies like she did. I would have loved to see her in her role as evil little Cynder. It would've given the player more to worry about and made the scene where she reveals which side she's actually on more impressive.

Ah well. The few times we did see her were good. I also really liked the bits of information about her past (they came with pretty pictures ^_^) and the Chronicler's prophecy about her future. Glad Spyro stepped in to stop that, though.

I think in the next one it'll be like Neopets:TDF.You know,you can chane into 4 different characters(including Sparx/Hunter,sparx to get into small places that Cynder/Spyro/Hunter can't get into)?!?
