Seriously, he reminds me so much of myself. Forgetful, not too bright, easily amused and accidentally finds helpful (and occasionally valuable) objects. That and I really like this voice for some reason.

i thought volteer was annyoing, too. using synonymns for the same word 10 times isn't funny or intelligent. but he did look really cool.

my favorite characters were the monks from collosus. Those guys were so cool, and the hockey rink was awesome.

Yes, Volteer was pretty cool, except annoying at times. "Your arrogance and pomposity are odious to the extreme." Spelled all those words wrong, but did he really have to say "to the extreme"? xD

A New Begining is a little fresh in our minds to consider getting fave characters out of the entire series, but I agree; Volteer was awesome Who wouldn't love a dragon that could ramble, use long words and have a more versatile set of reactions among the different cast members? (of course I was referring to Cyril struggling to get on with him and Sparx failing to understanding anything that he says.)

Back on-topic... well yeah, Spyro still, but I never, ever leave out Cynder and Ember alone. I don't forget Red, Ignitus, and Flame either. But who could forget Volteer?

If you're just talking about Year of the Dragon, my fave charrie would EASILY be Agent 9. I mean, who wouldn't love a hyperactive monkey and come forth with so much wit in the varying levels that he was placed in? It's a shame that portrayal didn't get carried on in the GBA games - that would have been so cool.

Someone mentioned Sergeant Byrd getting some great portrayal down the line too. That can be agreed upon, but why did he need a jetpack in A Hero's Tail when he could fly well without in Year of the Dragon?
