I think that it would be interesting to say the very least, but only if they used the original spyro or the legend of series version, it would probably end up being the legend of version since he would have access to 4 special moves i.e. breath weapons as well as better melee combat skills and his super move/finishing move that was introduced via the smash ball in brawl would probably end up being the convexity breath attack which would probably end up looking like either lucario or samus' smash attacks in the way that they would show him executing it. he would also probably end up being one of the characters that can "fly" do multipul jumps and or glide.

I would love to see Spyro in the new Smash Bros, his attack and his final smash it will be interesting!, as well it can grain lot's of fans and it can make a comeback, but is very tough to make Spyro in be playable in the game, I see more upside to appear in the Playstation All-Star Battle Royale than Smash Bros, But I really prefer Spyro in Smash 1000x

You know where they got Ripto's name from? This is the cover of a Japanese game called "Spyro and Sparx: Tondemo Tours". Somebody noticed that the kanji spelling out Spyro look somewhat like the Roman letters "RIPTO" and decided that would be the name of the next villain.

I already have Spyro in Brawl. and Mewtwo, and Spongebob, and Master Chief, and Jazz Jackrabbit. I also know how to get Rayman, Mickey Mouse, and Ridley.

Not only do I want to see Spyro in Brawl, I want Spyro to be bought by Nintendo. He has 5 Ninty exclusives (not including GBA and DS versions of the LOS series) and only 3 Sony exclusives. Might be hard to get him in though, because Spyro hasn't been released in Japan since Orange and Purple.

His stage should be the destroyer, and maybe Mecha-Red (I call him Metal Gear Red) can appear on Shadow Moses Island as a 4th robot.

It'd be an interesting idea, and innovations could lead to success. Besides, I like the idea of playing Spyro in some sort of Smash Bros game.

True. About the only difference I can think of would be breath elements, maybe final smash.

yeah I thought that too. but the final smash will probably be the same. furry attacks OR it would be cool if they did dark spyro/cynder

[edit] scratch that. dark spyro/cynder would probably be alternate colors not a final smash

I think it would be pretty cool if spyro was in the next SSB. Cynder too. but Cynder would basically be a 'clone' of Spyro. and in SSBB they had alot of clones. and that was pretty annoying.
