There is no requirement of gems you need to post in a certain forum.

I just discovered it after posting, but thanks anyway.
However, there still really needs to be notes on the "post a message" pages that clarify that's how to get gems, cuz previously no spot on this site had clarified it. I kind of figured that gems were gained by posting though. But I had to test it somewhere.

I can't post in certain forums right now because I have zero gems and it says I do not have enough gems to post in those forums. But no spot on this site mentions how to get gems. Wtf, I can't believe no one else asked this
