Which also gets me to thinking: what if Craig Stitt before he was forced to go on vacation had intended for all of the home worlds to have a mini-boss hidden in one of it's levels?

Think about it, Midday Gardens, Spooky Swamp has the Sleepy Head Wizard mini-boss that you didn't know about until the firefly told you that he had a secret behind his door that'll only open if you light all the lamps.

To swim in the air, make sure Sparx is at green health then go to the place where the fairy is by the water get close enough to her then quickly dive so that she zaps you under water.  Get rid of Sparx by hitting a TNT crate then let one of the seahorses shoot you. When you start back to where the fairy zapped you, you'll be swimming in the air.
