My PS1 is still kicking like new, I got it on xmas 1998 if i remember correctly, In afew months that will be 10 years it's been going for, (It's not with me i sold it to a friend years ago.)

My PS2, Same story, I got it Xmas 2001 and now it just sits in the clost cause i got PS3 but it's still working, Coming up 7 years once it hit's Xmas.

I got my PS3 start of april this year and have not had any problems.

You just can't go past good old sony, When in comes down to it, Deep down i think everybody knows that sony are the cadilac of gaming consoles.

I would agree with you on that.My PS2 will be 4 years old within 3 months since new and shows no signs of dying out.

PS3's bulky size did has it's avantage. It has more room to draw in more air to cool its processor than the Xbox 360, which had hardly any space for air to be drawn in>

Alright, we all know that 360 has got more games, has more bla bla bla,
BUT
The life of the console is short. You buy a 360, own and play it for 3-6 months, and the Red Ring of Death appears. This has indicated that the hardware has overheated, or in other cases, Hardware Failure.
Because of this, some people say that they are on there 2nd, 3rd or even 4th 360 console.

You obviously don't even own a 360. I've had mine for nearly 2 years and I've never had a Red Ring of Death. There are numerous complaints and problems with the PS3. Buy one before you talk of hardware failure.

1. The fact that it's got more games (Witch will change in due time.)
2. That the games might be the SLITEST bit better graphics (PS3 makes new updates all the time to update *bleep*, The graphics will take over 360.)

1. Despite the console's superior technology, PS3 developers have not gotten a grip on the consoles innards yet and few of the games look better than 360 games.

2. While these developers are trying to get a hold of the PS3, the 360 already has strong titles like Gears, Lost Planet, Bioshock, Saints Row, and Halo 3. All the PS3 delevopers have to show right now is Heavenly Sword, which got average reviews, Motorstorm, Resistance, and Lair (Which was a major dissapointment)

3. The Sixaxis controller is a blatant ripoff of the Wii and doesn't work all that well.

4.The 360 was made Microsoft and therefore has much more multi-media capabilities than the PS3

5. Microsoft is already planning to cut the 360 price a second time, while Sony's price cut was only temporary.

6. Microsoft is going to be able to do alot with the millions and millions they made off Halo 3 sales.

7. Most of all: Riiiiiiiidge Racer!!!!

By the way, I am not a Sony hater, I just don't support the PS3. I love my PSP and was always playing my old PS2.

like i said before chickmagnet, i you hate the ps3, say why. ps3 is a year behind ms. in a few weeks to months, sony will begin to out sell 360. dont get me wrong, i love my 360, but ps3, will sell more WHEN THE PRICE IS DROPPED,

360 elite- $479
ps3- $499
this holiday season it probably will be dropped again.

But is in turkey
xbox360 is not coming
ps3=1000 dolars
