The last book I read was Soon I Will Be Invincible, which was about super heroes and villains. Definitely not a book for you younger members, but I really enjoyed. I also recently read The Skies of Pern by Anne McCaffrey and I HATED it. I'm going to try and re-read Dragonflight to see if Anne wasn't better in her earlier career or if I've just grown to loathe her.

For you dragon lovers, here are some books you might like.

The Pit Dragon trilogy - Jane Yolen
- Dragon's Blood
- Heart's Blood
- A Sending of Dragons

The Enchanted Forest Chronicles - Patricia C. Wrede
Dealing With Dragons (my favorite)
Searching for Dragons
Calling on Dragons
Talking to Dragons
Book of Enchantments

Dragon's Bait - Vivian Van Velde

Dragon Chronicles - Susan Fletcher
Dragon's Milk
Flight of the Dragon Kyn
Sign of the Dove
(Note: These books will make you cry, but they are wonderful.)

Harper Hall trilogy - Anne McCaffrey
Dragonsong
Dragonsinger
Dragondrums (I didn't like this one)

For the older readers, McCaffrey's other "Dragonriders of Pern" books are fun. These are the ones I actually like:
Dragonflight
Dragonquest
The White Dragon
Moreta: Dragonlady of Pern
Nerilka's Story

They pretty much stink after "Nerilka's Story".

And if you haven't read Scott Westerfeld's Uglies trilogy....why not?! It has nothing to do with dragons, but it is incredible. Make sure you read them in order and don't look for spoilers!
Uglies
Pretties
Specials
Extras (haven't read this one yet)

Anyway, I'm reading a book called Siberia, its about a young girl who got taken to a prison camp when she was 4 with her mother. They were treated bad because they were political prisoners. It's really good. I just finished reading one called Cupid Cakes. About a girl who has a magical recipe book and she made her dad and her best friends dad fall in love, but not with each other.

Im also waiting for the next book in the Eragon Trilogy. But until then im reading a book called Temple by Mattew Reily. Mattew Riely, in my oppinion, is a good writer. But I am working on a book of my own. XD Its not that long yet. I work on it when i have the chance. ocasonaly, i re read Eragon or Eldest, or this one book called Dragonrider. I was reading the Dragon Riders os Pern, but it made no sence to me. It was one of my dad BIG books on his shelf, then i tryed the complete book of swords...weird seires. The one i will start reading soon is Steven Kings Dark Tower 3. First two were very violent and sexaul...Kinda scared me, But it is a good series.

OMG!!! I love Twilight!THERE ARE SEQUELS??????????????? w00t
Eragon didn't appeal to me either, unfortunately... Thinking of taking another stab at it next week or sometime...

By the way, anyone ever read Dragon Heat or Must Love Dragons? They are extreme romance novels so if you are under 16 you probably haven't read them. Anyway, can anyone tell me what they are about ? Too romantic for early teens?
