What the hell???!!!! The Spyro on the front page is the worst drawing of him that I have ever seen. I mean, just look at his neck - look at how skinny it is! It gives a whole new meaning to the words 'pencil neck'! The ANB drawing looked better than this, and that's saying much 'cause I HATE ANB.

*sigh* I admit that the graphics are okay though. I'll give it a try I guess. I just hope that Eternal Night doesn't turn out to be as crappy as ANB was...

he hasn't aged that much imo from ANB.. because this is probably only a short time after the events of ANB.. It wil certainly be interesting playing the game..

When I first heard it I actually felt chills down my spine, to the point that I felt that I would be unable to sleep that night (and eventually I did, about two hours later).
And then the following morning that music soon came into my head in the middle of breakfast, and I ended up breaking down subtley at that time; I was fine that no one looked at my direction at the time.

I saw the picture of Spyro on darkspyro.net a day before it showed up on the website and appreciated it back then; it may have looked fanart-ish, but there are some things that I can draw up from that conclusion:-

1 - Yes, Spyro looks older, but any further commentary there would just be echoing LoneKnight's statement.
2 - I see the bolder style of color here to be a firm contrast to what was shown in the artwork for A New Beginning. I don't know where I saw it, but somewhere in the Sierra forums someone specifically said that soft watercolors in Spyro cover artwork was becoming overused, so I see it as a response in its style. Add to people wanting to see how said dragon would age over time and we have a result, and I think it would fit really well with the mood of the game.

I'm really hoping that Krome doesn't screw this up. I enjoyed A New Beginning, and I really don't want them to slip up when riding high on its success commercially. It was rough enough that the game faced a rather late announcement, though considering we got a functional teaser website ready as long as a barrage of screenshots, goodness knows what the reason behind the revelation's delay was. O.o

COOOOOOOOOOOOL! Now TLoS: TEN is officially official. Even the screenshots make this game look worth dying for. In one of the screenshots, I saw all the guardian dragons and what a relief that was because before we were told that only Ignitis and Cyril were there. It wouldn't make the least bit of sense if only Ignitis and Cyril were in and Volteer and Terrador were taken out. The new Spyro website is awesome, but I wonder why Spyro looks older. He's not going to grow in the game, is he?
