Yeah. I think there's like a Grandfather/Grandson relationship with them. I mean, Ignitus is kind of old, you know. But I do think they have some kind of relationship, they're just so close to each other, and he's not as close to the other guardians, you know?

I seriously doubt there are any dragon relationships in this game because there aren't any clues nor traces of who the mother/father is for spyro, cynder, and the other dragon eggs that got smashed by the baboons in the movie scene after spyro defeats cynder for the first time and Ignitis tells spyro about cynder's involvement with the dark master. But I do know for sure that spyro and cynder are brother and sister because they were both eggs before the dark master intervened and they look roughly the same age. But the game doesn't reveal who the mother is that laid those eggs and who the father is. But future games might hint at the answer to this puzzling question.

Since theres no originality left Ignitus probably is Spyro's father...Now that I think on it , maybe Krome wouldnt do that because people would get bored with Spyro, thinking it was all cliches.

I ment the moment of deja vu would be the gamers, not Spyro's. The whole "I am your father" thing has been used over and over again it's becom something like stepping on a rake joke, but when somebody stepps on a rake it's enjoyably, wile cleshays are not [well to me, then again I'm one of those people who find the worst in everything *couPESSAMESTgh*]

You mean deja vu? That only occurs when something happens to you and then happens again later... its a feeling really. There;'s no deja vu moment here, becaus uin ANB everything was new to him. It would be dejavu ois similar events happened in Eternal Night..

Well how meny dragon games are out in the world? For that matter I have'nt seen ANY dragon relationships in games, books are another storie, also it seems way too "day sa vuw"ish to me. Thats a very common "suprise" in storielines. It might be nice if Ignits could be some kind of uncle or a distant family member but his father? Way too easy to guess.. but Im probally rambling and wishing for some origionality from Krome. {its time to face the facts, there is no origionality left in this world...}

theres more to spyro then all of us know not once have i seen any relations to the mothers of any dragons. Why? we dont know but im hoping we learn more in future games

Ok, lets say, just for one sorry second, that Ignits IS Spyro dad... unless he's like Aronld Swarsanager he couldn't give brith to Spyro [it was in one of his movies], so where the hell is his mother and why did Ignits abandon her, as he must have as their is only ONE female dragon in the whole game!

As I said, Flash is his foster-parent. we don't know if Spyro's parents were killed although that seems possible.. The only other dragons he has in his life are the Guardians and Cynder, Ignitus serves as his mentor, and Cynder apparently serves as his love interest, judging by what I've pieced together..

Flash is Sparx's dad and the male dragonfly that raised Spyro alongside Sparx, though goodness knows where people found out their names >.>

It is the nature of the mentor-pupil relationship...Ignitus is a father figure to Spyro, and he doesn;'t know his real parents.. the dragonflies who raised him are his foster parents..
