From what I've read it's all about battling. Though you can have online battles, with random ppl or friends. You can also have your own customised trainer and able to buy acessories for him/her. And the colesseums and arenas have their own special effect. You can use your pokemon from pokemon diamond and pearl and even use your nintendo ds as a controller. You can use rental pkmn, but this is discourage because rental pkmn have bad movesets and bad stats, and are very weak. A new feature is that the pkmn actually run up to their opponent if they're using a physical attack. Though pkmn that are really slow won't run up(for obvious reasons). And shown in the first trailer, there might be the possibility of enviornmental damage.

That's all I know. Even though it's only battling, I'm still gonna get it, at least it's not gonna turn into a bad pkmn rpg like xd gale of darkness or pkmn colesseum from the gamecube.

I might be getting a wii in a few hours. I really love, PKMN Battle Revolution is definatley one of the games I wanna get. But does anyone know when it's coming out in Australia.
