He does look a bit weird, but no less than he did before. In the FMVs he looks fine.

It took me some time to accept it, but now I kinda like the new look on him. He's much more accurate in terms of his design versus the elder dragons' and I really love that he really IS looking like the young version of the grownup dragons - that makes him much more believerble as a youngster.

OMG!!! what have they done to sparx??? he's supposed to buzz about collecting gems, now he's acting like... someone not like sparx, that's for sure. i think id like him if he wasn't meant to be sparx. o_O

He didn't look like the same, cute dragon he'd been in the Insomniac games, but he was alright. I think it was the good graphics that sucked me in there.

But I hated it when his eyes got really big... And maybe his crooked mouth from time to time, but all in all he wasn't bad to look at.

Well... I'm still trying to find a good 3D program to create it... ^^;;
Eventually, I'll want it to be a real game, but I'll wait 'till I'm in college before that happens.

yeah exactly, "What have they done to him?" indeed. Also, by the looks at the TEN trailer, spyro still possesses that annoying mouth flaw.

That's exactly what I was gonna say! I absolutely despise his mouth!
Spyro used to look so cute... now whenever I see him, I still can't help but think, "what have they done to you?"

As far as graphics, I liked spyro. But the only thing I disapprove on is his mouth. All throughout the game, he can only move his mouth and his eyes. But he can't change that smile. If he's mad, his eyebrows point down, but he keeps the smile. If he's sad, his eyebrows point up and still keeps that smile. He would be a lot more realistically animated if he can change his mouth expressions into not only happiness by smiling, but sadness by frowning or mellow by making his mouth a straight line. Also, instead of having his horns pointing straight up like in the old games, they have his horns pointing backwards. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but he would inflict a lot more damage when charging, head-butting, and horn-diving enemies if they positioned his horns like in the old games.

Actually, he's suppose to look younger than he usually do. But meh...

Well, ever since I played A New Beginning, I like it a lot...I can't decide if which is better, but yeah, I really like his new look, as much as his old look.
