Been watching Dayoman speedrun spyro 1 a bunch this last year which tickled my brain and slowly brought me back to this place to check in on things, and I was obviously not alone there!

I was just looking for some art, then stumbled on the forum from Google search (thanks Google?) and somehow remembered my login.

I am sincerely humbled and nearly in tears with all the memories flooding back. I hope all of you are doing well.

I never shared any interactions with most of the old guard here, but definitely remember you guys fondly when I was online as a guest when I was like 10 years old in the early 2010s (or earlier) or so!

It’s really perfect timing because the forum has been broken for like 2 years and stormy and I just decided to fix it a few weeks back, not that anyone really uses it anymore and moreso just because we want to see how long we can keep it up now. It’s funny how everyone’s grown up now but we still check in once in a while.

yeah some of us still very once in awhile check in on the place. bit surprised to see you and stormy both make an appearance here this year.

I'm not sure if I ever interacted directly with you back in the days, but I certainly remember you as an unmissable (in both senses of the word), colorful presence. I used to be and still am so in awe of your art, so it's great to hear you're using your skill professionally with such success! Your young dragons drawing is awesome!

Oh, is that how all the blank posts were restored? That's really appreciated! (A year or so ago I was digging through some old threads, among others one where a Spyro GBA developer answered questions, and Razz' correspondence with Oliver Wade, and I was dismayed to find half of it completely wiped... But then much more recently, and much to my bewildermend, the posts were magically back where they used to be.)

oh wow! incredible timing then. i'm grateful for your efforts to fix the place. it is nice returning and seeing old faces/names. i always wonder where people are in life and how they're going, so it's great seeing you, stormy and raven. i wonder if people would come here again if a new spyro was released?

i follow ebbeaht on bluesky - they're a modder/researcher with a love for AHT, and they recently posted an unfinished extended ending from spyro AHT with red in it. it's so sooo cool that even after twenty years since it's release, i'm still getting to see new stuff from the game
