The video shows that the first game will have skill points

THAT'S AWESOME. when i first played Spyro 1, i assumed it had skill points too, since the other two did, and i just had to find them.

as for the video though, i'm trying to avoid too many other spoilers so i don't think i'm going to watch it. i'll just take you at your word.

He lists five tips that for most of us are going to be no-brainers, but some other implications on what might be new to the game they remastered, as well as a look at the guidebook.

The five tips:

1. Make sure you hop through all widows to find 100% of the levels.

2. To find gems, use the Sparx gem-finding ability by clicking the left stick (L3 on PS4)

3. In Ripto's Rage and Year of the Dragon, talk to NPCs multiple times, because they will have a number of challenges to give you.  (might mean regular stuff, but they might add extra challenges)

4. Use the new free-camera.  (This is assumed to be a free range camera rotation instead of a just left and right like the originals.  I don't think it's related to the look view button (triangle) that the video shows.

5. Be sure to look at the guidebook.  (The video shows that the first game will have skill points to be earned.  It's a little disappointing that the skill points are revealed, but I think most people look them up anyway.)
