Now, if you could hack the game so you could play as hunter on skateboard, that'd be cool! But I guess that would be much more difficult.

ok, i found a really weird thing tonight. object 302 in Summer Forest. it's right "near" the Hurricos portal. when you put in that object number, its state will appear as -1. set it to 1. it's a single letter. changing the number for "Anim 1" changes what letter appears. (1 = A, 2 = B, 3 = C, etc)

i don't know if you have to move the other stuff on the portal (letters, orbs etc) first in order to see this, since i had already done that beforehand. unfortunately i don't remember the object ID for the main Hurricos stuff.

Fracture Hills
1. satyrs. i just used the first one in the level, Object #57. free him. and then change his "State" to 3, and he'll play the music again. (either that, or he'll just do the animation again - not sure why the music doesn't play sometimes.) you can get to the end with only one satyr free. and you can do this as many times as you like.

2. earthshapers. i used #72 but you can use any earthshaper. state 9 is what they do when Hunter hits them with an arrow, but they get back up: they fall over, get up and laugh. you can do this as many times as you like. state 13 "kills" them, but you don't get an animation. it's like when you hit them with the superflame, they just explode. it seems they don't have a separate "state" for when they fall in lava, it's just some variation of state 13 (might be an "Animation" difference? possibly?) i wouldn't advise trying to bring the earthshapers back, though - the game tends to not like when you bring things back. it tends to crash.

by the way, i'm not sure how you guys want me to do these threads? should i just update the original post to avoid spam? or should i make a new post here every time i discover something interesting so you get notified about it?

stuff i discover in SpyroEdit that i think other people would find interesting. if anyone else plays with SpyroEdit, feel free to add to this!

Aquaria Towers
Hunter's manta ray's Object ID is 213. if you set its "State" to 1, you can ride it around freely. (you might have to do the first challenge before you can activate this?) now, the problem is doing it in the upper part of the level - it'll fail you, because you're not following the seahorse that appears. it seems if you activate this in the lower part of the level (it'll take a few seconds for the manta ray to appear), it won't fail you and you can ride it around as much as you want

Crush's Dungeon
Crush's Object ID is 0. how i think this works is: attack him once, let him hit his club, etc. then set his "State" to 4. he'll take damage immediately. you can just hit "Set Value" over and over until you defeat him. (if somebody could double check this, that'd be great) all i know is, you have to hit him at LEAST one time before this works, otherwise he just defaults back to his standing / idle animation.
