So Canadian Guy Eh made a video sleuthing on the possibility that the dragon seen was not Nestor, but another dragon loaded into Nestor's place. I clicked on the video assuming I would disagree, but he convinced me that it's not actually Nestor.

I guess with Reignited Trilogy and it's updated graphics they'll add looks that reflect the world, for Artisans, Beast Makers, Dream Weavers ECT.

I didn't even notice the turban getup in the trailer. Guess I'm not super opposed to that kind of aesthetic thing as long as the games maintain that original fun vibe

Those artisan hats are kinda strange looking, but the more I think about it, the less it concerns me. And I think other articles in other areas wouldn't be so strange. Imagine the dragons in Icy Cavern all wearing earmuffs. Maybe the Magic Crafters all wearing capes. And Cleetus in Twilight Harbor could be wearing military uniform, complete with camo face paint.

I'm wondering if they'll only put such accessories on the first dragons you release in each homeworld, or if they'll be on most or all of the other dragons as well.

Like what riverhippo said about it being a 'status' thing, the first dragon of each homeworld is supposed to be the leader of that dragon race, so the hat and apparel may just be for that world's leader and such.

Just shooting in the dark of course. Won't know till it's release.

I tend to think a lot of additions, such as a the gorget neck pieces on those dragons, are more just common artist depictions of these kinds of creatures being anthropomorphic. The princesses in MLPFiM have these too, which tells me its more of just an easy way to illustrate status on a character without making them wear full clothing. Let's just hope we don't get this:

I think what they've done is drawn inspiration from other games outside the original trilogy. In this case I think they drew inspiration from Spyro: A Hero's Tail. Nestor's accessories look strikingly similar to the accessories worn by the dragon elders in that game:

If that's the case, then perhaps they might have a few other carry-overs from other games outside the original trilogy? Who knows?

Thanks riverhippo. I guess his face looks a little funny, but I agree about the hat and jewelry making sense for an Artisan. I think people are mostly memeing when they complain about this, but yeah I don't really see the big deal.

The hat and other accessories don't bother me. In fact, I think clothing is a neat addition as it has the potential to make each dragon more unique. The thing that bothers me though is the structure of his face. His horns are also super tiny. I actually like what they did with the rest of him though. His wings, hands, and legs all look better in my opinion.

The attire makes sense since Nestor is an Artisan, and Artisans wear turban, gauntlets, and jewelry.

And Artisan dragons provide other dragons with artifacts of culture and beauty in the forms of songs, sculptures, and poetry.

Can someone please link a picture of this because I tried Googling and couldn't find any actual images of the new Nestor.
