Yeah it's weird isn't it?! I'm glad I'm not alone in doing this, I wonder if our brains just go into a time loop or something?! I have to say, I still feel like I'm 18 or 19 and not 33 so maybe its something to do with how our brains perceive our own age? I don't know but sometimes I'm staggered by how long ago something was when it feels like just a couple of years ago in my memory.

I'm glad that there are other people out there who feel like this! I'm 33 now and I feel really "time-zoned" when I see someone born in 1997 or 1998 and think that they're like 21 or 22 now, wowsers, it just doesn't seem like that long ago and people born in 1998 should still just be kids of about 8 or 10! To me, when someone says "30 years ago" I still think of that being the 1970's some time.

There was a girl I was talking to the other week who totally made me feel like time was warped when she said she wasn't born when Princess Diana died and that she couldn't remember 9/11. The girl was about 19 so wasn't born until 1999 - just made me think how strange it is that time can be skewed in our heads.

Terrorism is the very worst thing about 2000s, and the world has never been the same ever since, another disappointing thing happened, well as a wrestling fan, WCW got bought out by WWF (I mean WWE) My godfather (also uncle) flipped out about the permanent closure of WCW at Monday Nitro, he completely got over it though. I watched the last episode of Nitro yesterday morning on WWE Network, I can’t blame him.

weirdly enough, i don't remember 9/11, even though i was definitely old enough to. i was 7 when it happened, certainly old enough to remember something like "towers being destroyed by airplanes". but nope.

The fact that there are even people who don't remember 9/11 and are adults is weird to me, let alone some being born after it

Someone born in 2000 could be an adult now. o_o I have a cousin who was born around then who I still think of as a little kid, but he could be going to college soon... Crazy.
