Gem count displays in your profile and on each of your posts. I have not added the gem icon yet.

Where are they Stormy? I can't see my gems. Is it a bug that I cannot see a floating gem or is it meant to be that way ?

I guess I could reopen the shop. I don't want to have too many dead forums taking up space, though - it makes the site look more dead than it already does. So you guys better actually use it.

Glad you brought back the system. I agree with with reopening Moneybags shop so folks can use their gems for stuff.

Gems are back! Right now it's a very simple system that gives or takes gems based on which forum you're posting in. I might make it so that if you're in the negatives, you can't post in SPAM anymore >:D (Hint: the forum for the remaster currently gives 20 gems per topic and 10 per post.) There's a donating system as well at /donate.php, but it needs some work as well.

I mean, I could have done it if people had actually wanted it. It just would have been a lot of hassle. While there are currency mods for FluxBB that I could have modified, the database migration script didn't automatically handle that kind of extra stuff like it did posts, usernames, and avatars, so I would have had to write a script to bring that data all over and fit it in to the new mod myself.

In the end, we took a vote before the migration happened, and gems were not one of the features people voted to keep. Same with guestbooks (which I actually do kind of miss).

Also I'm pretty sure it was -10 gems per spam post, although there was a bug where the gem value didn't actually show up like it normally would have after you posted.
