We didnt see them together in the Skylanders franchise either. part of having 500 different characters to interplay with.

I'm not surprised. Spyro- with the exception of legend of Spyro and A heros Tail, has not hinted at romantic relationships. Skylanders, thusly is more in line with the original series

The showrunner Skylanders Academy, Eric Rogers, recently confirmed that Spyro and Cynder aren't going to fall in love in the Netflix series and are just going to be friends.

I'm not surprised, since Spyro and Cynder weren't in a romantic relationship at all in the whole Skylanders franchise. Plus I think they should leave the fan-turned-canon shipping in The Legend of Spyro trilogy only.
