Not exactly. The fans have reported officialspyro to Twitter for impersonation. It seemed Twitter suspended them from the amount of reports they got. Or it’s something we don’t know about.

I mean, recently the troll claimed to be working for Insomniac and Insomniac didn’t like that. Acti probably took action:

Yep, the impersonator managing the fake accounts is notorious for trying to pass his online Spyro profiles they own as "official" for attention. Still, I can't believe they would stoop this low.

Thanks for the info. "official Spyro twitter page" - I'm pretty sure who is behind that x) Anyway, it's sad that people do such things just for the sake of attention. I wonder if twitter is as active as facebook on blocking misleading information (or maybe not as active, since facebook blocks even true informations just because "somebody" reported it).

Just spreading the word here, as apparently some Spyro fans are believing this right off the bat. So I've noticed a lot of Spyro fans believe that the @OfficialSpyro twitter is an "official page" for new Spyro content run by someone at Activison. But the Activision Support Twitter page confirmed a while ago that OfficialSpyro isn't one of their official pages like @CrashBandicoot.

In short, OfficialSpyro is an account run by a Spyro fan who is impersonating an Activision employee for the sake of attention.

If you see claims from OfficialSpyro about "new updates", or "hints" on Spyro without other evidence, do not believe them. They are not a verified account. We need to spread word of this as well.
