The game had a lot of potential and looked good. The development was rushed though, it never had a chance. I enjoyed it, just didn't seem like a completed game.

Last year, someone actually posted a link to illegally download it, but it was removed, for obvious reasons.

i would like the bigger scale, if it didn't make the levels so tedious for me. i remember just getting frustrated a few times in Cloud 9 because of how gigantic the level was and how long it took to get to different areas.

One of my favorite things about this game was the level design. My favorite is probably Cloud 9. I like the bigger scale of the levels too.

Nothing wrong with the game style, graphics or music. Lack of homeworlds is a let down and other world's in general. It describe it as this: a beautiful project that was rushed to completion. This could easily have been a great Spyro 4. But it wasnt treated with enough love and care as it's predecessors.

it's a lot of good ideas, executed horribly. pretty much everything i could talk about with this game, boils down to "yeah, this could have been cool, but it wasn't."

with one exception: the water. everybody, and i mean everybody praises what a good job Check Six did with the water, and i concur - the water looks great!

This game is the biggest reason we have not had a "classic" Spyro game in a decade and a half. Not only is it a terrible game in its own right, but it started Spyro's downfall. I still own and play this game from time to time as It is still a Spyro game that was part of my childhood. Somehow I'm always able to convince myself that it can't be as bad as I remember and am proven horribly wrong every time. Even when I'm not running into a game breaking glitch, the game just isn't fun. It is slow, wonky, and barren. I really struggle to come up with positives for this game.

I am not saying this because i didnt give this game a chance. I am saying this because i happend to beaten this game several times. Going back to this again didn't change the fact about what i knew about it already. Its slow, it gives an illusion of imersion through slow exploring. Basically this is in my view the only Spyro game you should ignore, the rest is playable whether you think they are fun or not, but they are not broken or badly made. For example Crash Bandicoot Wrath of Cortex is not liked by all, but its in no way a badly programmed game. Thats the difference.

Now i want to hear what you in general think of this game?
