That's the thing, I don't use a touchscreen I use a PS3 controller

i played through the first one on a tablet; no idea how you can stand touchscreen controls on such a small screen, even on a tablet i thought it was a challenge. it's just so awkward to use, makes any kind of precise movement hard, at least for me.

Actually not as much as you'd think, an hour takes about17%, and that's the max amount you're going to play, honestly.

Nice work! I was going to say this is pretty impressive performance for a phone, but Spyro is like 15 years old now, so there's probably a lot more mobile game today that are much more demanding. I can imagine this would eat through your battery really fast.

I'd tell you how I got that app,buuuut... Stormy would banhammer me. And I can tell you that it works perfectly. You should turn down your emulator's resolution, it by itself should do wonders.

And you still need to have your device rooted to pair your controller.

Back before I replaced my Galaxy S3 with an iPhone 6 plus I use to play Spyro 1-3 sometimes on ePSXe and it would lag like crazy at some moments. I also tried pairing my PS3 controller but the only app I could find on the Google Play store was some garbage PS3 controller app I had to pay 10 dollars for. I didn't end up buying it.

I'm just hoping Activision releases ports of the original Spyro games to iOS and Android with controller support, but with Skylanders in the way it'll probably never happen.

So I've got myself armed in a HTC Desire 310, as some of you might know, and I wanted to test out that baby, since it pretty much sated my everyday needs. So of course, root, PS3 gamepad bluetooth pairing tool and ePSXe :v

Essentially, the goal was to see how much FPS I can get out of that little thing, and well... I was pretty dam suprised, when I saw full 60 FPS even on the most demanding of displays, at least on optimal settings. Other than that, I just felt nostalgic and thought I'll brag about it here for a moment since I didn't talk about anything spyro-related here in quite a while. I'll try to get some screenshots and a video if possible, gimmie a sec...
