Because even translations can mislead.

you would be surprised how many alleged Bible "contradictions" actually come from poor translations of older Hebrew texts. for how much people like to play up the King James Bible, it sure has its fair share of errors, apparently!

As for myself, I found myself not to be much fond of the idea of "religion". I just keep it simple. God and the Bible (which was basically God using man to put His writing in a form we can read). That's as far as I like to go, since religions can be misleading and/or full of misunderstanding. It doesn't have to be on purpose either as it can simply be a state of unknowing. People will come up with an idea and if the idea sounds really nice then a bunch of people will believe in it. I'm just not a fan of that. I think I was created to be a deviant for a reason... I tend to stray from what is common. I believe in God and I believe in the Bible that has the closest words to the original writings. Because even translations can mislead.

it's such an eerie song - the idea that it's so quiet and peaceful, but it's about... Judgment Day. an event that would more accurately be described with loud, bombastic music, but instead, the song is just light Gregorian chants, with no music behind it. it's really ominous.
