I was being serious. My allegiance to the Pope and the Catholic Church is much stronger than my allegiance to the United States. Not saying I'm in silent rebellion against the US government, but moreso that I am Catholic first, American second.

Seems people have some prejudice against rednecks : /. Never met one. Although i guess its not a way to insult southern US citizens since i guess rednecks proudly call themself that from what i've heard on the internet.

i would assume it'd be mostly, if not entirely, Catholic. i'm not Catholic (i'm... Protestant, if you had to give it a word), so i wouldn't fit in there too well. but hm... living in an "absolute monarchy". generally speaking, that could be interesting.

but at the same time, it wouldn't be that much different from what i live in now. i don't get to vote on the things our government does, only the people who get into it.

Its one of the few places in the world that still have absolute monarchy as a form of government. I've always wondered how that would be. I imagine it would be like medieval times with kings and queens being the governing form. Only that its the pope in this case.
