Well Space Jam got 6.2 on IMDB. Does that stops me from enjoying it, no!. Point is judge on your own accord, not what some old boring snail with a review board says. Just to put it out there frankly : 3

Reviews aren't always reminiscent of how you will enjoy the movie, however they do give a general idea of the quality in terms of enjoyment for the average human being, and they are assuming that you are indeed a human being.

Well, you're certainly a human being, so your opinions must ring with some reviews at least a little. Saying you like all movies that get 5/6 stars is generalizing just as much as saying you hate them.

Well if i like something then thats all basically. Like Game of Thrones just to mention some examples, and that has good reviews.

Its not hipster, its about thinking for yourself. I dont need a bunch of dice to tell me what to like and not to like. Thats like saying a food tastes good just because reviewers says so, i dont care.

Reviews exist for a reason. They're not the absolute truth that applies to everyone, but they are generally very helpful if you don't feel like wasting your time.

Can't speak for this movie at all, and have never heard of it before

I usually say that if a movie gets 6 or 5 then its gold. 7 Might be good, but if its 8 or 9 then its bad.
Because what people consider canon are dull movies about real life drama.

Mona: "Hey. I heard about your relationship with Lisa went bad. Wanna go for a walk"
Richard: "Yeah, sure"
(Loooooong walk to a certain place while chatting)

Nothing good happens in them to be honest . And those always gets high scores. Taste is so subjective but are treated like objective facts.
