DotD on PS3 or using Wii Emulation with the native res tuned all the way up (If you like getting your hands dirty with the settings) is the closest to high res we are going to get right now.

Just mucking around with my friends N scale train set and popped my 3d printed Spyro on it. If anyone could tell me how to stick a photo up I'll be more than happy to share.
