And yes, this is with the GC version. Really cool how you can do this. You can even do a more stripped down version of this thanks to LXShadow. His SpyroEdit program allows you to dump textures. It's a bit glitchy, though. I'd love to see you try your hand at customising some of these games. You're a talented developer.

I actually haven't worked on Rusken 3D for more than a year right now. I realized I needed to rebuild a lot of the game engine, like a better collision system, vertex based skeletal animation and a better level editor, but haven't quite got done with that yet. It's still my goal and intent to actually do make the game, although it's currently at a massive stand-still.

Seriously. Want to know how to do it? Rettroix, formerly known as the guy that worked on Spyro Eclipse, shows us how to do it in the comments of his Reddit post on r/Spyro.

Link here: http://www.reddit.com/r/Spyro/comments/35b3mb/spyro_enter_the_dragonfly_ingame_texture_hack/.

Very useful. I had a feeling this was how it's done. To celebrate this, I made a video in which I switched some of the main textures from Spyro 2! Specifically, Summer Forest. Here is the video:

I really want this to be an open invitation for people to start making their own texture hacks. Editing this game. Making it better. There's already a Dolphin hack where you can make the game run consistently at 60fps. So speed is no longer an issue.
