Just bought Alpha Sapphire!
I'm not past the beach where Mr Briney resides yet, but so far I'm very happy with the game. The music feels pretty much as it should, and I like the stronger, more saturated colors of the environment much better than those in XY.

Delta Emerald looks like it might be coming, and the Frontier is supposedly under construction in ORAS, so it might come back in a Delta Emerald version.

Otherwise, I hope Game Freak gets really worried about all the negative feedback regarding the lack Battle Frontier and decide to make a DLC for it anyway. neutral

When it comes to music, I'd say that's very much about personal taste and nostalgia. I've seen a lot of praise for the HGSS music, but I personally didn't like it much compared to GS, and only actively played with sound on after I got the GB Sounds key item. I still haven't got OR/AS, so I can't say for sure yet, but the tracks I find uploaded to youtube doesn't sound that bad IMO. (I might just have been expecting disaster, though tongue)

Gen 3 was my favorite, but I am leaning towards not buying this one, mostly because I'm trying to save my money, but also because I don't really like the new music all that much, and one of the main reasons I liked gen 3 was the music
