It's weird. I liked winter a lot more when I was little. I only ever noticed how fun it was to play in the snow, never the cold. Now that I'm an adult, while I still do love the snow, I can't stand the cold or the driving conditions.

I like winter and snow, and am waiting impatiently for the snow to fall so I can go sking
There's spruce forest just 100 meters from my doorstep, and I just love the "magical" look of the trees with lots of snow on them.

Fluffy snow is so much better than hard, frozen snow.

Since we're posting pictures of snow:

Staying with my parents for Thanksgiving week, and this was the front yard this morning. I'm okay with this kind of fluffy snow. At least it's not freezing rain like it was at my place on Monday.

i agree, i like the cold better when it's snowing too.

i just don't like walking in it.

oh yeah, Christmas is a nice part of winter too, of course

I don't like the cold ... unless it's snowing. If it's not snowing it might as well be warm outside. Anywhere between I can't bear at all.

There was snow here once. It was an extremely small amount you may have possibly seen on a leaf before 6:00 am. And it was great.

Yeah, not a big fan of winter. I live in a place with a ton of hills too, so driving is a pain. No ABS in my car either which is always fun. Not to mention it consistently gets down to -40 F with wind chill here. Christmas time is always nice though, but that's just because I can spend some time with my family.

I love winter. It was so hot this summer that i can take all the cold it has to blast on me. Bring it on i say, winter is awesome!

Hmm... I like winter especially for Christmas and enjoying the views in the local forest (where the actual border between Poland and Russia is marked off by a river). I also enjoy snowball fights, building snowmans etc. etc.
But what I like the most, is that happiness which comes from sitting with whole your family in one place, joke together, and just feel the christmas spirit. Because that's what christmas is all about, right?

But on the other hand, I hate it when rush caused by setting up everything for christmas is causing loss of nerves, bad atmosphere etc. It's also pretty easy to get ill. My parents have trouble driving on an iced road, but I personally have a different problem ("I twirl through the driveway with angelic grace, 'til I slip on the sidewalk, and fall on my face!")

So yeah, winter can be pretty cool, but it can also be pretty lame. Though I enjoy winter very much. Maybe because i'm an optimist, idk ^.^

I'll hate it when I got into GameStop and/or the toys section in Target. Other than that, I get one week to sleep and do whatever the frick I want to do.

I like it. Spending Christmas with family drinking hot chocolate. And enjoy the snow is fun. On the downside it's cold, freezing, and can be slippery.When the ice emerges.
